Privacy Policy

ENPICK complies with regulations on the protection of personal information specified in laws and regulations applicable to information and communication service providers, including Acts on Communication Privacy, Telecommunication Business, Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Data Protection, Etc.; and does its best to protect the rights and interests of the Users with the policy defined in accordance applicable laws.

1. Items of Personal Information and Method of Collection

  • A. Items of Personal Information Collected
  • i. "ENPICK" uses authentication information provided by service provider supporting OAuth, and uses personal information agreed by the users when obtaining OAuth authentication. Personal information collected through OAuth authentication and users' agreement will be complied with information provision rules of service providers.
  • ii. Following information may be created and collected at the use of "ENPICK.”

    Original identification information for OAuth authentication, gender, service use information on OAuth authentication/connection of users, cookie, visit time, service log record, service violence record
  • iii. Following information may be collected at the use of promotion event or service provided by "ENPICK.”

    User's name, e-mail address, address, telephone number, information on area of interest
  • iv. Following information may be collected at the use of charged service provided by "ENPICK.”

    Credit card company name, credit card number, mobile phone number, mobile carrier, payment authorization number, bank name, bank account number, etc.


B. Method of Collection of Personal Information

"ENPICK" collects personal information using the following methods.

  i. Collection through users' voluntary provision at registering in services provided by "ENPICK"

  ii. Collection through users' voluntary provision at the use of "ENPICK"

  iii. "ENPICK" complies with data use policy specified in relevant SNS for personal information collection.

2. Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information

"ENPICK" shall not use collected personal information other than the purpose of the use specified below, and we will get the prior consent when the purpose is changed.


  • A. ENPICK service provision
  • We will use them for user information ranking analysis that helps understand social media trend and its influence using collected relevant service use information by OAuth authentication, and it is also used for provision of service customized for individual user.
  • B. Implementation of contract on service provision and settlement of hcarge by service provision
  • Service provision, customized service provision, billing, authentication, purchasing and payment, charge collection.


  • C. Member Management
  • Personal Identification, service use by grade, prevention of illegal use of bad member and unlicensed user of service, confirmation of membership registration, maintaining record for dispute resolution, customer complaint handling, announcement.


  • D. Use for new service development and service provision
  • New service development, service provision according to the statistical characteristic, confirmation of service validity, access frequency assessment, statistics about service use of the member.

3. Term of Retaining and Use of Personal Information

"ENPICK" holds and uses the personal information provided by the users during the period in which the users use the services of "ENPICK". When the agreement on the use of personal information is withdrawn, use purpose is achieved, or retention or use period is finished; it will be destroyed immediately.


However, following information will be retained for specified period due to following reasons.


  • A. Information Retaining Reason by Company Internal Policy
  • i. Illegal use record
  • Retention reason: Prevention of illegal use
  • Retention period: 1 year
  • B. Information retaining reason by applicable laws
  • When there is a need to maintain the personal information in accordance with the applicable laws, including the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce Transaction, etc., "ENPICK" may maintain the personal information of the members. In this case, "ENPICK" uses retained information for retaining purpose only and the retention period is as following.
  • i. Records on contracts and withdrawal of subscription
  • Retention reason: the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce Transactions, etc.
  • Retention period: 5 years
  • ii. Records on payment and supply of goods

  • Retention reason: the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce Transactions, etc.
  • Retention period: 5 years
  • iii. Records on consumer complaints and processing of disputes

  • Retention reason: the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce Transactions, etc.
  • Retention period: 3 years
  • iv. Records on identification

  • Retention reason: the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Data Protection

  • Retention period: 6 months

  • v. Records on visits to websites

  • Retention Reason: the Act on Communication Privacy


4. Disposal Procedure and Method of Personal Information

The personal information of users is immediately disposed of after the purpose of its collection and use has been fulfilled. Disposal procedure and method is as following:


  • A.Procedure of Disposal
  • i. Personal information saved in a digital format is deleted using technology that prevents the recovery of records.
  • ii. Personal information printed on paper is shredded or incinerated for disposal.
  • i. The information submitted by members for the purpose of membership registration is stored at a separate DB (separate filing cabinet in case of paper) for a certain period of time in accordance with the company internal policy and applicable laws for the protection of privacy (refer to Retention and Use period) before it is destroyed.
  • ii. Information stored in the separate DB is not used for other purposes unless it is required by law.

5. Provision of Personal Information

  • "ENPICK" uses personal information of the user within the scope of "2. Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information," and does not manage the information beyond the purpose or provide the information to a third party without the prior consent of the users. However, personal information may be used or be provided to a third party in the following case with careful attention.
  • A. When users agree to it in advance
  • i. In prior to providing personal information, provider of personal information, purpose of provision, item and retention period of personal information shall be notified separately and be agreed, and if the user does not agree to it, provision of personal information will not be made.
  • ii. Recipient and Use Purpose
  •    a. Recipient: Web service developer/company
  •    b. Use Purpose: Customized service provision through relevant web service connection
  •    c. Providing Item: Personal information agreed to collection/use except identification information
  •    d. Retention & Use Period: Until the use of relevant web service or during its enrollment


  • B. When personal information is required for implementation of contract and it is very difficult to get an agreement due to economic/technical reasons


C. When there is a demand from an investigation agency by applicable laws or according to the legal procedure and method.

6. Entrustment of Management of Personal Information

"ENPICK" entrusts the personal information of members as follows for better service, and defines the terms of entrustment of personal information management for the safe management of personal information in accordance with laws. Entrustment organization and its content are as follows:


A. Entrustment Item: Payment method provision

B. Entrustment Content: Payment settlement of charged service

C. Entrustment Company: KCP

D. Personal Information Use Period: Until the end of entrustment contract

7. Rights of Users and Legal Guardians and the Method of Exercising the Rights

Users and legal guardians retain the right to view their own personal information or request it to be modified, and are allowed to withdraw the membership. Users are able to view and modify their personal information through 'Personal Information Change' (or 'Membership Management'). Or when they contact us by writing, calling on the phone or sending an e-mail, we will not use or provide relevant personal information until it is corrected. Also, when false information is provided to a third party, we will make corrections without delay. "ENPICK" handles the personal information withdrawn and deleted by users' request in accordance with "3. Term of Retaining and Use of Personal Information" and we do not permit this information to be viewed or used except for that case.

8. Installataion and Opersation of Tools to Automatically Collect Personal Information and Refusal of the Tool

"ENPICK" uses cookies, which automatically save and search the information of users to provide service performance improvement and specialized service to users. Cookies are tiny text files sent from the server used to operate the website to the browser of the users, and they are saved in HDD.
"ENPICK" uses cookies for the following purposes:
A. Purpose of Use of Cookies
Cookies are used to verify whether the log-in user is an authenticated user or not by identifying member/non-member. Also, it is used for statistical purposes about users' activity in order to improve service quality. Users can choose whether or not to accept cookies. Users can allow all cookies, be notified whenever cookies are sent, or refuse all cookies through settings options in the users' web browser.
B. How to Refuse to Accept Cookies
Users may choose to allow all cookies, be notified whenever cookies are sent or refuse all cookies through settings options in the users' web browser. An example of cookie settings (for Internet Explorer): Tools Menu > Internet Options > Personal Information
However, when users refuse cookie installation, there may be difficulties in a few services that are required to log-in.
"ENPICK" takes the following technical/administrative measures to prevent loss, theft, leakage, modification or damage, and aims to have the highest level of security in relation to the processing of personal information of users.
A. Measures Against Hacking
"ENPICK" is doing its best to prevent leaking or destroying personal information of members by hacking or computer viruses. We regularly upgrade and check security programs to preven tleaking or destroying personal information of users using vaccine programs, and make safe transmission of personal information in network through encoded communication. We also try to establish the database system in an area where external access is controlled in order to technically secure the security systematically.
B. Minimizing and Training Employees to Handle Personal Information
"ENPICK" designates the minimum number of employees in charge of managing personal information and gives them separate secret codes that are updated regularly. "ENPICK" also emphasizes the importance of privacy policy through continuous training.
C. Opersating a Dedicated Department in Charge of Personal Information
"ENPICK" is trying to immediately correct a problem when it occurs, in implementation of privacy policy, through a dedicated department in charge of the protection of personal information. However, "ENPICK" is not responsible for the problems caused by the leakage of personal information due to the negligence of the users or unintentional or insignificant fault of the company.

11. Responsibility of Notification


  • When there is an addition, deletion or modification of the content of privacy policy due to the changes of the laws or governmental directives or security technology, "ENPICK" will notify it by publishing the news on the ENPICK website or ENPICK fan page at least 7 days prior to enforcement. However, we will notify important changes regarding members' rights or responsibilities at least 30 days prior to enforcement
